As I get closer to the production of my assignment, I will be experimenting with photographing different Pasta. I will add elements of pasta and different ingredients to add interest in my photos. The intention of this exercise is to experiment with different lighting and compositions, changing camera angles and combining different elements to produce good images.
Types of pasta:
I went to a few supermarkets to look for interesting Pasta. Besides normal spaghetti, penne etc. I found three interesting types which are Fusilli Tricolore, Casarecce and Orcchiette. These are interesting as they have different colours and textures.
I will also be experiment with related ingredients such as Semolina, Egg, Flour, Basil, Tomato sauce and possibly fresh tomatoes. These will add interesting details to the final photos.
