In preparation for producing the images, video and other artwork for the assignment, I began to gather and research for what I want the outcome to be, and compile some pointers in a mood board.
The image I would like to produce needs to have an Asian twist while being modern. For this, I will be using black backgrounds, bamboo mat, and colourful organic plates. These will be used individually or combined to give me options.
I will introduce elements such as red peppers, black and white sesame seeds, coriander leaf, pickled ginger, rice and props such as the steamer, chop sticks, and the ingredient bowls to fill in the image.

I have linked the colour palette with the images and the colour they represent. Features such as the bamboo and ingredients are key to what I would like to show in my work.
